On May 10, 2018, at the Institute for Economic Research of the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences (BAS), a promotion of the project co-financed through the Interreg-IPA Cross-Border Program between the Republic of Bulgaria and the Republic of Macedonia, entitled “Bulgarian – Macedonian Cross Border Cooperation for Capacity building for Competitiveness and Innovation”, was held.
The project with duration of 15 months, was successfully finalized on 17 January 2018.
The final results of the project are summarized in the publication entitled “Competitiveness and Innovation at Local and Regional Level – The Case of Northeast Planning Region in The Republic of Macedonia and the Kyustendil District in The Republic of Bulgaria“, which was published in English, Macedonian and Bulgarian.
At the promotion, the key activities that were realized during the project and the summarized results from its implementation were presented.
The project was promoted by the Academician Taki Fiti, President of the Macedonian Academy of Sciences and Arts, Prof. Mitko Dimitrov and Prof. Stojan Totev, from the Institute for Economic Research of the BAS.
